dajho
I run Logic Pro8 on my G5 and my macbookpro,,, The problem is that most of my production is done on the G5 which also handles all my outboard gear as thats my main studio workhorse, when i've finished working on the G5 i want to get the G5 logic track on to my Macbook Pro so I can work on the arrangement outdoors, but then also when i've done something to the track on my MacbookPro i want to put it back on to the G5 again with the updated arrangement. Does anyone have any ideas as to how I do this... Thanks. Dajho
buzwah
I suppose the most obvious way would be to buy a flash drive save your song onto that and load it into your Macbook Pro, just rename it appropriately to reflect the changes you make. Then do the reverse to get it back into your G5.
Randall Voth
Turn filesharing on and copy the folder back and forth over the network. You will run into problems if you try and do this from a user account that was not the very first one you created when you installed the system, but if you are the only one using the computer and you set them both up, you'll be fine.
