Mpc-like note repeat function

User SweetOOth Has a nice template which allows you to "note repeat" to different quantization's on specific notes... The thing with his template though is that it only will do the function to whatever sound is assigned to the keys he has assigned to the different quantization's.. What I want to do is have this same function available to all off the notes across the keyboard. For example: if I had a hihat on f5 that i wanted to do 16th notes for 2 bars then 1/8 for 1 bar I would want a way to switch between the 2 "on the fly".. I think keyswitching would do the trick. I am no good with the environment so I wont even begin to try but if any of you logiphiles wanna give it a crack to help me out please do so.. Ive attached Sweetooths original template, so if you wanna build from there feel free...

Thanks ckp!! I was playing with it last night and added a 1/4 note repeat also!

Would you be able to upload that template?? also, were u able to figure out how do make it so that the assigned keys could be used on any or sample mapped across the keyboard??

I think I might have found a solution so that the timing resolutions can be set to knobs or ccs i guess.. In the environment there's a section called fader/knobs.. If that could be set to different buttons on the keyboard controller it would be just like thenote repeat on the mpc but any sample on your keyboard can be used.. I would love for a Moderator to check this out or anyone with the knowledge of doing so as this would save me some money!!

I second that! I haven't really thought about it in Logic, I'd just use Ableton or Lucifer (plugin) for that effect.

Ive also heard people using lucifer for this effect but I want to keep everything within logic...

ckp, I am looking into this.

I dont know if this pic will be any help but I got it from the electronica template... If this template could be tweaked to remove octaves and just be resolutions like 1/4-1/64, this might be the way to go.. Im guessing the boxes with the resolutions and midi effects on and off parameters are touch tracks.. If those could be assigned to buttons to be switched at the users desire, that might be the solution... I wish I knew how to do all of that but my environment skills are wack!!!
