logic 9 for the beginning logic user?

is there any post already made for the beginning logic user? im using logic with battery and im having some trouble making loops and drum patters as well as getting the keys and drums from playing together

you may need to elaborate on the exact problems you are having with creating loops. as for hearing the keys and battery playing at the same time, im guessing you are using a controller with internal sounds. crack open the manual for your keyboard controller and find out how to turn "local control off". this disables any internal samples from sounding and allows you to use the keyboard solely as a controller. hope this helps.

Of course. How is it connected, by USB or through a MIDI interface?

OK, then create an external MIDI track, open the library and select the Motif channel you want to send MIDI to. That's it.

ok thanks,,,,now what about if i want to spread some drum sounds that i have on my computer whether from battery on somewhere else across the keys of my motif, how would i go about doing that?
