Gillyman54
Ref Logic Platimum 5.5.1. I have installed the software (purchased off eBay) and can hear playback but can not record anything, what am I doing wrong? I know this is a very basic question. Be gentle with me I'm new to Logic so not into the speak yet.
yamahadrums
Ca you tell us what exactly you're doing, while trying to record? Did you arm the track for record? Have you setup you audio interface, if you have one? MIDI or audio channel you're trying to record on?
Gillyman54
Hi I'm trying to record an Audio track, I have armed the record for that trck and hit the record button. I know I have a sound source as I can hear it, I think it may be that I have not set up the Audio preferences correctly. Can someone run me through the correct procedure. yamahadrums
Yes, that the procedure. Logic 5 is pretty old version and as far as I can remember the Preferences were a mess. Check Audio Driver Prefs Pane, check Universal mode, Audio monitoring and try again.
