fader8 Posted September 23, 2009 Share Posted September 23, 2009 It doesn't, really. Perhaps in rare cases when you want to notch out an air conditioning whine or something. But then your ears work better for that too. Like the channel meters, the analyzer only shows levels, which don't translate to loudness very well.
