dkgross
Anyone else with an Apogee Ensemble unable to get it to sync to an external Word Clock after the L9 update (and the new Apogee Updates??) Not that I -NEED- it, because the interal Apogee clock is rock solid..but, I do have a Lucid GenX 96 for the mBox2Pro. IT needs it =
fader8
Hey Dave, Are you sure word clock is present? Meaning maybe a bad cable, etc., or you didn't turn the clock gen on, perhaps? Although you'd think the Apogee would default to internal if it didn't have anything to lock up to.
dkgross
nope..it's all been working perfectly fine until I did the updates. STILL can't get the Apogee to see the word clock. Changed cables, blah blah. WTF..I'm about to give up and just unplug the damn word clock from it anyway..it really DOESN'T need it. The Ensemble has the same clock that the Big Ben has, I think.. but..the mBox2 Pro...THAT certainly needs it. And it makes a big difference in the sound. I give it one more day (or till I hear back from Apogee)..Otherwise...Internal clock it is. grrr.
