JumpingInFire
I'm about to start school and we are provided a 13" white Macbook 2.1 Ghz Core 2 Duo with 2 GB RAM and a 160 GB HD. I currently have a 24" iMac 2.8 Ghz Core 2 Duo with 4 GB RAM and a 320 GB HD. I am concerned with the performance of the laptop and love how my iMac performs. I can upgrade the laptop and with my situation I basically have three other options. Pay $150 to get the base model Macbook Pro with a 2.26 Ghz processor or sell my iMac and get either a 15" MBP with 2.53 Ghz, 4 GB RAM, and 250 GB HD ($750 extra) or a 17" MBP with 2.8 Ghz, 4 GB RAM, and 500 GB HD ($1450 extra). I'd really like to hear some of your thoughts . . .
chrisrnps
So for a $150 upcharge you can get the base model MacBook Pro instead of the white MacBook? I'd do the $150 MacBook Pro and keep the iMac too, if it were me.
