DomitianX
I started playing around with Logic for the last month or so after using Sonar 8/9 for the last couple years. So far I dig it. It seems to fulfill my meager needs. I've been reading a bunch of different forums articles and I keep coming across comments along the lines of "Logic is great, especially for us electronic music guys". I see other comments along similar lines where it seems Logic is for the beat/electronica/dj kinds of guys. Why is that? Is there something missing in Logic that you might get in one of the other DAWs? So far I have not run across a reason to switch back, but I am just curious is there is something I need to be aware of when working with Logic compared to some of the other DAWs like Sonar. fader8
It's not about what's missing, it's about what's included. The reason you hear "Logic is great, especially for us electronic music guys" is that Logic comes with a lot more instruments and effects than any others do. Good ones, too. As for being able to produce music in other genres. no there's nothing to "watch out for".
