Ryan Mendoza
So I am having problems with the audio with my Firebox. Sometimes when I play my project in Logic its fine then the next day It's like im getting CPU overload every few seconds. I've tried setting the samplerate to 1014 but it still does these intermittent CPU overloads with the firebox. I don't know if theres any update on it as I couldnt find anything on it on the PreSonus site. If someone can help me out that would be great. By the way, I disable the airport, bluetooth and everything running in the background when i'm on my sessions.

duggan
PreSonus has a beta program available for Fire Studio users. Note when you sign up they claim the Firebox is Snow Leopard compatible... http://www.presonus.com/betaprogram/ Not sure that helps you any... but the folks at Presonus say it works

duggan
Have you tried calling Presonus? They have been extremely helpful to me when I've called them in the past...
druu
I'm in the same boat at the moment, lots of cpu spikes. I had a feeling it was to do with the CPU throttling on my Macbook Pro but not sure. It's getting very frustrating!
