Tapeworm
Native Instruments updated their compatibility page for snow leopard and their products as being tentatively ok to install (except maschine). I have a fresh install of snow leopard with L8 and now the K5 bundle. I opened up a new project and made a drum kit using battery. As I had a loop of that running I made another track and opened up an FM8. It crashed. I reopened logic and started again the same thing. This time I opened up a couple of FM8's without the sequrncer running and it didn't crash, but when I quit logic, logic gave me a 'quit unexpectedly' as it shutdown. short story is, is anyone using L8 + NI + SL having instability? I was using that exact setup but now I'm on Logic 9.0.1 and have no problems. Though I didn't have them with 8 either. What is the rest of your setup like? Tapeworm
2 year old macbook C2D 2ghz with a saffire le. I do have K5 installed on my 10.4.11 Tiger system with L8. Although, I hadn't really done much with them on that since I bought the bundle fairly recently, but it wasn't unstable as what happened under SL. Did you upgrade your previous OS to snow leopard or do a fresh new installation? There is a distinction as far as NI is concerned. They claim no problems in that respect. It was installing NI products on a brand new SL that was causing problems.
