Colorlapse
Hey, So I have installed a few audio instruments successfully, and the .component files are even showing up in my library/audio/plugins/component folder. But some of the audio instruments I have installed, namely NI akoustik pianos and the Korg Legacy pack are not available in the input menu in logic (9). The component files are showing up in the folder, but not in my AU manager. I have no idea why. Anyone know how to get around this? I've already tried re-installing both instruments. ~Colorlapse
Coil
have you installed os x 10.6. ? when yes, try to download the actual eLincenser software for the legacy collection.

fader8
did that... doesn't help with the akoustik pianos issue either When you open NI's Service Center app, does it show Akoustik Piano is authorized? Korg Legacy requires a synchrosoft dongle, right? Is the driver installed for it?
writch
I've been trying to get Akoustik Piano to work since December. Apple blames NI and vice versa. I can see the instruments in the AU manager, but I they don't show up in the library. Good luck!
Chris
If you are using the latest version of AP, try dragging the component file to your desktop and then back into the component folder. That may not work in this case, but it worked for me when I had this problem a couple of years ago. HTH,
