Key command for Transform Functions?

Hi Guys,

I am in desperate need to find a way to setup key commands for transform functions. I couldn't find any old posts on this. Sorry if this has already been mentioned.

Example: + 5 Expression or all velocity 60. ('')I've made a bunch of custom transform commands.. but it's not useful unless I can assign it somehow . My goal is to set it up with a Lemur or Xkeys once I figure this out.

Am I missing something? Is this possible? Can this be done in the Environment?

Thanks for your time

Thanks for responding.

Yes, just a single selection or transform function.. If I'm saying it right. Like " Expression -5" or even the factory ones. "randomize velocity". How do you assign these to an X keys or Lemur? It's mind boggling. The environment makes since though. I just can't seem to figure it out.

I would love to just hit a key and perform these operations.

Will a Lemur be the only way to do this?

Thanks again for your help.

Or any other MIDI controller device.

Start looking into the Cable Switcher and Transformer environment objects as those will primarily be what you'll need. The Switcher will allow you to cable a bypass around your transformer and it can be remote controlled by any type of MIDI message you like.

Fader 8- Thanks again for all your help. I've spent the last week or so trying to figure this out on my own (based off of your suggestions). Unfortunately I still can't make it work.

I'm getting a Lemur soon. But for the moment I'm just using Ikeys.

I just can't seem to get the tranform function into the sequencer. ('')Maybe you can tell me what I'm doing wrong.
