DomitianX
I started working with Logic a few weeks ago so forgive the newb questions. I created a instrument track and assigned an insert to EZDrummer and I get the track to play and everything seems to be working. But its quiet compared to any tracks of guitar for example. I have to crank down the live recording tracks quite a bit in order for EZDrummer to be decently mixed. Am I doing it the wrong way? I was looking for a gain knob on the channel strip, but I couldnt find anything.
thindave
Maybe your live recordings were recorded very hot. In which case, its ok to lower those to match EZD...
DomitianX
The odd part is that if I crank the fader all the way up I barely get any level on the meter. I should be able to set the I/O of the instruent track and get a decent level on the strip shouldnt I? Just seems odd that there is very little signal there. thindave
How are the faders set in EZD's mixer?
DomitianX
I figured it out. I a insert applied to the channel and it level was set really low. The weird thing is that if I clicked on it, there wasnt a "no plugin" option. I had to delete the track and create a new one in order to get rid of the insert. Is that normal? thindave
I've never seen that...
DomitianX
I can duplicate it without a problem. Im thinking I am doing something wrong if no one else has run into it. http://www.logicprohelp.com/viewtopic.php?t=47823
