Tarekith
Sorry for the large image size: http://img32.imageshack.us/img32/8716/screenshot20091001at412.jpg As you can see, while the timing of the midi notes is shown properly in the region overview, the pitch of the last three notes is wrongly shown. David Nahmani
The MIDI regions cannot display pitches accurately. You can't rely on their overview to tell you much about the pitches of the MIDI notes.
Tarekith
I guess this is the first time I've seen it this far off then. I wouldn't expect it to be totally accurate, but some notes are shown much lower in pitch when they are actually quite higher. Oh well, like I said, I just never remember it being this far off from what the actual pitch is.

Consider this MIDI region, spanning the entire MIDI range. How do you suggest such a sequence should be displayed in a small Arrange area MIDI region? You can't respect the pitches. Something's got to give.
Tarekith
Oh I understand not everything can be shown, int he past I thought the top and bottom of the region display were just truncated off, which makes sense. Not a big deal now, just thought maybe it was a bug and I should report it.
David Nahmani
I don't think it's a bug - I think it's a different decision on the part of the development team (sometimes the difference between bug and voluntary decision is not visible with the naked eye ).
