gcast85
Finally ran in to my first snag in Logic 9! When bouncing as an MP4, tracks become hours long when they should only be a few minutes. When I bounce the same file as an MP3, it comes out right. My "ending point" box is at the correct place, (3:05 in this example), I've eliminated all other causes. /Users/gcast85/Desktop/Screen shot 2009-10-04 at 12.37.13 AM.png Has anyone come across anything similar? Any guesses as to what can be done? Thanks all!
shivermetimbers
/Users/gcast85/Desktop/Screen shot 2009-10-04 at 12.37.13 AM.png It could have something to do with the way your system displays time. That doesn't explain the difference with the MP3 file though.
seablayne
I've had the same problem, except it is displaying correctly in iTunes but incorrectly when the same song is transferred to my iPhone. In my case, one thing I noticed was that, by default, Logic 8 saved the aif file as 96/16 (not a combo I would pick myself). This may be a red herring though, since until about two weeks ago, I never had this problem. This happened after installing Snow Leopard and updating the iPhone to OS 3.1. These may or may not be relevant. Like you, I don't have any problem with mp3s.

gcast85
Yep, when I import the 3 hour tracks into iTunes they end up being 3min, the correct length. Dragging that same file out of iTunes and back to the desktop results in another 3-hour track. Weird. Thanks for replying gang!
