Patch Name Pop-up Disappears Too Quickly [SOLVED]

In Logic 8, when double-clicking on the instrument icon in the track header, it opened a pop-up (who knows what the name is), that allowed you to manually select patches...

In Logic 9, I have to hold the second double-click in order to see the pop-up but after about a second and a half it disappears before I can change the patch... Does anyone have a cure? Thanks

wow it fixed mine also :)

I never thought it was the prefs file ( i didnt had crashes, so I presumed that was alright, but it was the trangression from my L8 song to L9 song default that corrupted it.

Many guys have reported this as a bug on SL 10.6 (SL as the cause, this is not the case then, maybe make a sticky out of it or make one @ Mods)

moya, this is what I did: Quit Logic then- in the Finder, go to ~/Library/Preferences. (Note: The tilde (~) represents your Home folder).

Trash com.apple.logic.pro.plist... I also trashed com.apple.logic.pro.cs...

  • 2 years later...

Hello,

I have the same problem (Logic 8, Mac OX10.6.8.). After trashing the 2 files it works for the first pop-up, but the next time I want to pop-up a patch name list it disappears again directly...

Thank you for your help
