doctorwho
I've read Korg forum about it and i don't even want to try the DIY fix (alas, poor toaster, ye will no longer pop up), and i don't know if/when/where I can get it repaired at this time. I'm honestly surprised it lasted this long (17 years). Is it possible to control an 01 W completely using the environment? Would it even be worth trying to create an environment to do this (other than the experience of learning about the environment...and midi)? I imagine this could be a rather major undertaking, but certainly less risky than turning it into a large paperweight. Also, this is the only midi control i have for Logic, other than the caps lock keyboard. (grumble...guess i'll fork out for another, on top of repair cost) Thanks in advance for any advice/input/evil laughter
fader8
Got any extra computers around, like an old G3? You could find a copy of SoundDiver and edit with that. Or, if you have an old windows machine around, there's: http://www.soundtower.com/synth/01w.htm
