Join command in Logic

By joining them do you mean take the duplicate track and tag it onto the end of the first track you duplicated from? If I understand it as you wrote it, it seems you want to duplicate a track and then basically merge it back up to where you duplicated it from. It would only create double notes on the one region. Makes no sense to do that.

If you were to mean eg track 1 is from bar 1 to bar 9, then after you duplicate it you want the duplicated track to start at bar 10 on the track 1 then you just pick it up and drop it there.

Sorry if sounds confusing but to merge/join a duplicated track with the original track doesn't seem to serve any purpose.
