External HD

Recommended Posts

Is it good to install Logic onto a external HD and then run it off of that drive? This is just to save space for my internal HD.

You should use the default installation locations for apps and frameworks. Logic itself is not that big, all the apple loop et rest takes space. During install you could tell where to install those parts, to another hard disk, for example.

If already installed, you could use an alias directory to map the existing AppleLoops contents to a new location. Do a search on this forum, this has been explained N times.
