weird problem with logic.......... pre/post rolling?

when i hit space bar to start,,,,, it play's the first 2 beats before my loop and when i press space bar again to stop..... it plays another 2 beats before it stops

never seen this before in the 10 years ive been using logic!

 

logic new electronic manual is crap.

 

im lost any help??

i should add as well that when i hit space bar to stop..... the play head stops moving but i get about 2 seconds of my audio playing.

 

this is driving me mad!

To your problem..

 

• does this happen with every song?

• what's your preroll set to now?

• the lingering audio problem -- does it happen on specific tracks or all tracks?

i worked out where the pre roll was (settings/audio/preroll-uncheck box0

 

but the audio that keeps playing is from midi via ultra beat and a percussion track on exs24.
