ordeo
This is becoming a real head scratcher ! I can't work out how to change the tempo of the samples (mainly drum loops, but also basslines and vocals) that I've imported into Logic 7. I've read that using the 'Adjust tempo by selectors and locators' is the way to do it, but it just isn't happening. I also get the option to either 'create' the changes or make them 'globally' - which ever option I take, the result is the same in that the audio file doesn't match the overall BPM I've set in the Transport. I'm having to use Ableton to set my BPMs, then import them back in which is a real pain.. Thanks!
will666
Does this help it's for vocals but the same thing for loops and other samples http://www.logicprohelp.com/viewtopic.php?t=48974&highlight= the only difference is that you can use logics bpm reader to let you know the original bpm then change the smaple using one of the methods in the post above
