bigdaverotheroe
Hi Guys, Have a bit of an issue with bouncing a track of mine, session has 52 tracks, mixture of audio and software instrument. I have the buffer set to 1024 but cannot freeze tracks as when I do my speakers pop and nothing plays, then when I stop playback they pop again (another little issue there if anyone has any ideas on that too?!) Basically, when I bounce, even in realtime (everything plays back fine in realtime as it's bouncing) the audio file produced is entirely silent. This doesn't happen on any of my other sessions, just this one. Any ideas? Using: Logic Pro 9 Macbook Pro 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo 2GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM Many Thanks, Dave
chellstrom
Are you possibly outputting to an output that isn't the main? (1-2)
bigdaverotheroe
cheers for response, Nope, clicked the bounce button on the bottom of the out1-2 track to make sure, definitely not that!
Holger Lagerfeldt
Sounds like one plug-in is causing the trouble. Try bypassing or removing plug-ins until the problem goes away. Probably not a Logic plug-in, but a 3rd party one.
ski
Do you have to set your buffer to 1024? Have you tried smaller buffer sizes? Sometimes having a buffer size that's set too large can cause problems too.
