dovetail
I am occasionally experiencing a loud, static, machine gun sounding noise in Logic 9 when I hit play. I have to quit Logic and relaunch the session for it to stop. It will play fine for a few minutes and start again. Totally baffled on this one. Does anyone have any idea what this is? Thanks! daveyboy
This happened to me twice today on a session with only 1 audio track, no fx. Buffer was 64 and I'm in Snow Leopard running Apogee Symphony (latest drivers). Very embarrassing. But, I didn't have to restart, even though after the first time I should have to see if that would have fixed it. I also got an error message saying something to the affect that my drive was too slow (?). I haven't been recording at 64 for a long time, even though I have a lot in the past with actual big sessions. My audio drive has plenty of room on it too. Hmmm. Who knows. dovetail
Thanks, Dave. Funny, I had the opposite buffer setting at 1024. As soon as I changed it to 512, the problem disappeared and hasn't returned since. What's up with that...?
