elppa cam
I know this is not a Logic issue but it was a result of trying to burn a demo... recorded in Logic. That close enough?? Here's the story... I had a blank disk stuck in my Suerdrive and the sucker would not eject. I did the, RESTART>HOLD MOUSE button down and cha-ching... tray opened and out came stuck CD. Yea. Now my Superdrive will not recognize ANY disk I put in it. Blank CD-R, DVD-R, pre-recorded CDs... What is the heck up here? Is this a firmware issue? Did the stuck CD solution make screwy with my G4 Superdrive?? Any help/suggestions would be appreciated. (If this post is inappropriate... let me know...) gdoubleyou
Use the system profiler to see if the drive is detected. (Apple menu) 8)
David Nahmani
Did you update the firmware? http://www.apple.com/support/downloads/superdrivefirmwareupdate.html
elppa cam
Yup... Sys Profiler sees my G4 Superdrive. And I believe that firmware update is for G5 systems. Drive still screwy today...
David Nahmani
Yes you're right, this is only for some eMac models and G5 powermacs. Is this still not fixed?
