neighbor
Hello- I'm an extremely satisfied Logic user but I've been having one repeated problem that I cannot seem to figure out: Each time I bounce down a completed track to an MP3 the cymbal crashes from BFD get cut off immidiately after the initial attack. In normal playback everything is fine. Maybe this is a BFD problem or might there be some unintended compression happening when I bounce down? Thanks in advance! Cheers- Matt
David Nahmani
Is that the last sound of the recording? Or in the middle of the recording? Either way, bounce can act strange at times. Try lengthening the midi note that triggers the cymbal (even though that won't change anything during playback, maybe it will for the bounce). If the cymbal is at the end of the recording, try adding another sound later, after the cymbal, and bounce the whole thing (you can edit that last sound later). Obviously, make sure your end bounce point in your bounce window is comfortably past the last sound of the recording.
neighbor
It occurrs at every cymbal crash within the song itself. I'll try lengthen the midi note and see if that helps. Thanks very much! matt
