Anthropy
I'd like to be able to select several channels of Midi (or Audio), and change one of the following: volume, cc11, velocity, pitch, and others, with one command. For instance: I have several channels of saxophones -midi, not instrument tracks- that are in proper balance, but too loud as a section. Now, in order to reduce the volume of that passage I need to use a tool to change a parameter (say, Volume 7) on one channel at a time. Or I need to group faders and automate the change (big hassle with midi faders). It would be faster to be able to select the regions or tracks, pull up a dialog box that says, "change CC _7_ by +or- _15_" Does that make sense to you? Is that possible? Thanks for all the help, past, present, future... Robert
Alan Shields
If the Sax channels are all in balance as you say then set all their outputs to a bus and use the resulting Aux channel fader as a 'master sax' fader to adjust their overall volume. Anthropy
Thanks Alan- I can use that work-around for my own projects, but not for my client, who's environment is inviolable. Is it possible to simultaneously edit volume automation across several channels/regions? Thanks again, Robert
