Good plugins for cutting up audio samples?

I've been hearing a lot of tracks recently with samples that have been cut up into very small parts. Does anyone know of any good plugins available for performing this kind of work?

Logic's sample editor maybe?

or with Logic 9 you can set the transients for an audio region in the Sample editor. Then in the arrange area either slice at transients or use the convert to sampler track feature to create an EXS24 sampler instrument with a key assigned to every part between transients.

I recently bought Sequent and the more I use it the more I love it.

I use Kontakt 4 nearly everyday in my studio. By far the most powerful and versatile sampler I've ever worked with.

 

I've seen magic done with Logic's EXS24 sampler too, although I myself haven't gotten too deep into it.
