mejon
At random times I'm getting blasted by white noize from a newly recorded audio region. It only happens in playback, right after the audio region was recorded. It has only happened a few times, but it is very distressing when it occurs. It gives an error message (I don't have that written down) After re-launching the session, another error message pops up: "Audio File with invalid Leader data found!". And it promps to either repair or cancel,. Hitting repair fixes the white noize problem, but the whole thing is quite frustrating. thanks for any help on this. 45rpm
Audio File with invalid Leader data found I think the message actually said "invalid header data." I wonder how all your drives are formatted. You can find out by selecting them in the Finder and pressing ⌘-i.
ski
See this thread: http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=2144002&start=0&tstart=0 While I stopped participating in the above thread some time ago, AFAIA there is no known cause or cure for the problem. Also, it's not a problem specific to Logic. People report this problem on PT systems also. For additional perspective and info you can also do a search on this forum for keywords "white noise blast", making sure to enable "search for all terms". David Nahmani
Jon, what audio interface do you use to record those files?
mejon
My interface is a DIGI 003 (I added info to my signature). This has only happened a few times, but very frustrating. Jon
