dakingraja
I have saved some key commands to different knobs/ buttons on my MPK-61 , When I have these set up Logic Crashes every now and then... Ive saved them to a hard drive and tried importing them but this doesnt work... Am I able to export key commands for a Midi Controller/Control surface and later recall them?? Do I maybe need to export them to a specific place??
David Nahmani
All control surface assignments are stored in ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.logic.pro.cs. You should always quit Logic before you move that file or replace it with another one. Unfortunately, from what you're saying it appears that this file may be corrupted on your system. If it is, quit Logic, trash it and restart Logic, and re-assign your control surface as desired. Then quit Logic and make sure you make a back up of that file. It's there, for sure, so you're probably looking at the wrong location. Make sure you start with your home folder ("~/" means your home folder).
