tiny333
sorry to ask such an obvious question... how do i slice drum tracks on transients? so i can sample the individual hits?.... to an external sampler... thanks
seeren
Go into the key commands and search 'transients' or 'slice' to find one for 'slice region at transients' - assign it a key command. Use it. Now it will show up in the command click menu as well. Region must be 32 bars or less.
fader8
You may find it more useful to detect transients in the Sample Editor as this lets you easily set thresholds and edit/move/delete transient markers. When your happy with the marker locations, select the region and "Slice at Transient Markers". With all the new regions selected, use "Convert Regions to New Audio Files" and save them into a folder, ready to load into your Akai, Kurzweil, etc.

tiny333
because us logic users are so much more intelligent ? (we are also much better looking and tend to be younger and richer as well )
mejon
Logic users throw better user events too. Trust me.
