mjchb
Hello Anybody having any luck with this? Does this require the same steps that FCP7 requires for iChat Theater Preview? I'm using a new i7 Macbook Pro and Logic 9.1.1 on OSX 10.6.3... Can't seem to get a video preview within iChat - I'm testing using Bonjour on 2 different Macbook Pros.... Anybody w/ any ideas it will be greatly appreciated... mjchb
strawman
Does Logic support iChat theatre preview? Did you turn on Screensharing?
mjchb
In the video project settings there is an option:
crimsonnoise
Wow that's great. But I can't see the option here. Do you need Final Cut Pro 7 installed for this?
mjchb
Maybe? I do have Final Cut Studio installed (the newest version)... However I can't get the option to do anything? Would be very useful I imagine.... I'd love to send previews of songs/scores over the interwebs or local networks!

johnno
The LP9 manual does not say anything about ichat support in video output so I would guess that it isn't supported, which is why it's not working. http://documentation.apple.com/en/logicpro/usermanual/index.html#chapter=43%26section=10%26tasks=true
mjchb
strange that it is an option then..... i can't find any info on it anywhere so I thought I'd ask here....
