nighttrippa
hi all, every time i select a track in the arrange window it automatically zoom toggles that track (gets bigger) AND I have to hit z (my zoom toggle command) TWICE before it actually turns off. If I create a new session with the same template I originally used, and/or with no template, I cannot re-create the issue. This is driving me crazy as I work on this project...any ideas?? David Nahmani
Turn off auto zoom, unlock the screenset, lock it again, and save the project.
nighttrippa
thanks david, I now realized that at some point I opened a second arrange window in my screenset 1 and the arrange window I wasnt looking had all its tracks zoomed to the setting my selection in the 2nd window was jumping to. I always keep my screensets the same from my template on (ie 1 is arrange, 2 is mix, 6 piano roll, 8 environment..) but this is an excellent example of why I should lock them. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. Dear Mr. nightrippa.... I was struggling with this. I was doing all the right things. I had auto zoom turned off, and still it would auto zoom. Your post made me realize that I had a second arrange window open that i had open behind other windows that DID have autozoom turned on... I turned it off on that second window, and viola, problem solved on the first window. Thanks David and thanks nightrippa.
