buzwah
Can anyone remind me of how to view only ONE track of automation instead of the whole arrange window. I've done it before but can't remember how.!!
David Nahmani
Hold Control as you choose "display off" in the automation menu of one of the tracks. This will set them all to .. well display off. (Click and hold, then hold down Control, thenchoose "display off") Now set the one you want to see to the desired parameter. buzwah
I've noticed that when Auto Track Zoom is ticked and then Track Automation is ticked in View menu then only that zoomed track will show automation. But when all tracks in Arrange are the same size, then ticking Track Automation shows automation on all tracks in Arrange. But I've noticed that it's inconsistent. Sometimes it will do this & other times not. That's my problem.
David Nahmani
Depending on the zoom level of each track, Logic can display a different amount of automation parameters (none at all if the track is small enough). On the other hand, Autozoom can produce any kind of size for both the selected and the unselected tracks in Arrange, so your behavior can seem inconsistent if you don't work with specific zoom levels. What I would do is lock a couple of screensets, with different zoom settings or automation display settings to be able to have a consistent behavior. buzwah
Thanks David I now understand that the tracks Zoom size affects this question.
