dropped midi information in the environment explained

For anyone who has run into mysteriously dropped data in the environment this is a great read and really helped me understand one of the more frustrating things in the environment. I am not too sure what version this is from, but the info is great and I thought I would share it with you.

if anyone else has any documentation on the different limitations of the environment (like the 298 cable rule included in this article) please share. I know that I for one I would really appreciate it as it is not always easy to find information on some of the more obscure limitations in logic.
