I told a friend of mine i was making the change so he came a great sound library he has compiled but he told me i need to seperate my sounds from the actual samples in 2 diffrent folders the instruments in 1 and the souds in another, i don quite understand this can anyone explain? So basically i have a drive with my sound library logic brand new and new macbook pro, so what do I do with my sample lib?? Thanks guys, bit of a tedious question but im new to this better life of LOGIC and MAC! Beats Cubase and pc anyday!!! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
David Nahmani Posted November 7, 2006 Share Posted November 7, 2006 Move the sampler instruments to ~/Library/Application Support/Logic/Sampler Instruments/ and leave the samples where they are. You might be asked to locate the samples the first time you run an instrument. You can also run a scan on the sample folder from the Project Window. Realizment Posted November 19, 2006 Author Share Posted November 19, 2006 Ok david ive just got around to doing this today, so i have a whole list of sampler instruments, and there is some which contain folders within folders can i just copy all the main ones across like the folders that has folders in them or do i have to do them seperately? thanks. Realizment Posted November 19, 2006 Author Share Posted November 19, 2006 Just realized that when the hard drive is plugged in the default samples in the exs24 doesnt work when its out its normal again. so if this helps anyone realise what im doing wrong??
