David Nahmani
You can drag and drop the files from the Finder or from iTunes onto any Audio track in Logic.
Joel7347
okay - I'm dragging the tracks from finder and itune, but i'm getting a prompt from logic asking what type of file is this? What am I doing wrong? Aren't files the same as tracks? How do the files get into Finder?
rikki rivett
they have to be files which a) QuickTime can read - like audio or MIDI b) Logic can put somewhere- you have to drag an audio file to the audio window or to an audio track in the Arrang window. RR PS the "what kind of file?" message occurs when you try to drag an .ovw (overview) file into Logic, for instance
gdoubleyou
Select the song in iTunes the depress the apple key along with the "i" to get the info on the song, using the tabs locate the screen that has the filetype, and file size info. If you need to convert it to a Logic compatible file format, Logic should be compatible to the filetypes in iTunes though, not sure about itunes video. 8)
