I need more Audio Tracks

This is probably the dumbest question ever posted. I seem to be limited to only 16 recordable audio tracks. Is there a way to expand this number or is my only option to bounce to free additional tracks?

Track > Create multiple.

 

If that doesn't work, go to Audio > Audio Hardware and Drivers and raise the max number of Audio Tracks.

 

You can have up to 255 mono or stereo audio tracks in Logic Pro.

Worked like charm! I won't even begin to tell you the hours I've lost working around 16 tracks! If "relaunching the driver" is reopening my project it worked! Again, thank you both for the help and the promptness.

You can do it quicker: once in Audio > Audio Hardware and Drivers , uncheck 'Enabled' then check it back, and click 'Try (Re)Launch'.

Cool, guess I need to stop playing defense against myself huh?. I appreciate this forum beause I live in an area where there aren't any Mac users - much less Logic Pro. Strictly Pro Logic-centric studios here. I went against the grain on this one. This time it worked for my advantage!
