Jerome
Hey there, If I leave Logic loaded for the night, in the morning, I have to relaunch Core Audio to get any sound. Is there a workaround? (Besides closing Logic the night before...) Jerome

EdgarRothermich
Same thing here One machine does it every night, a second machine once in a while. The funny thing is that I had the same "overnigh" issue with Cubase SX before I switched to Logic. Maybe it is OSX related thing, i.e. running cron script overnight in the background or something. Anyway, it is really annoying
Jerome
Yeah, maybe it's a nightly maintenance script that "stops" Core Audio. If that's the case, it sucks cause you really don't want to disable these. Jerome
steveH
Maybe if we tucked it in and read a bedtime story....
Jerome
I just downloaded Onyx, a small utility that allows to manually execute the automatic maintenance scripts. None of them (daily, weekly, monthly) had any impact on Core Audio. So the problem must come from somwhere else... Jerome
