prospect
Anyone utilizing their Mackie Control religiously? I've had mine for almost a year and I find myself sticking to my trusty mouse and keyboard for navigating through Logic. It's been nice being able to automate volume (fader movements) physically, and to mute/solo multiple tracks simultaneously... but.. for the money and space that it takes up. Eh. I'm really considering getting rid of it How are you doing with your Mackie (Logic) Control boards out there?
lordtom
I had 1 MCU for over 2 yrs and found myself using my mouse and keyboard more than the MCU however I've just added 3 extenders and its great, now my mouse is use only to open plugins etc.. mattrixx
I am definitely using the MCU more and more for opening plugs etc!! Absolutely love the EQ page that allows the pots to adjust the freq and the faders the level of each band etc... F^%$ awesome, as this will also instanciate a ChanEQ when you enter this mode, when there is not an EQ present there already on the track you are on. EQ + Vpot 8!! I wouldn't like to go back to working without the MCU, it's unbelievably flexible!
