Rolo Tomasi
I'd always thought that recording with mono tracks was archaic and sonically inferior to stereo track recording. Almost like a, "why are they even giving me the option?" sort of thing. I've since realized that my songs sound a gazillion times better if I record as much as I can in mono. It's such a simple and basic thing but I feel like I've discovered the musical equivalent of the lost ark. Now I only wish all Logic instruments (Sculpture, EFM 1, ES 2, etc.,) came in mono. Why don't they? Do you guys look for mono capabilty when purchasing or using VI's or does it not matter either way?
camillo jr
Direction Mixer can pull in the stereo image of a stereo plug and pan it too, both in the track and the sends.
