thomas_sylvan
Hello all - I just received a new mac pro, 2.66, 4 gigs of ram and installed logic 7. When I record enable an audio track all I hear is loud static and the gain meter shows full to the top. Nothing is plugged into the back of the Digi 002 and all of the audio inputs react this way... I'm not sure what is wrong. Any thoughts? Thanks for your help! Thomas
David Nahmani
Make sure you've installed the latest 002 driver?
thomas_sylvan
everything is up to date, and I reinstalled the drivers but I haven't had any luck. I found that everything works perfectly when running Pro Tools. but in Logic that audio tracks still are full of loud static when I record enable them... could it be that I need a different interface? The digi seems to mess up a lot with logic...
Dan W
I occasionally at first heard static with the Digi 002 and Logic 7. Sometimes, it seemed that if I launched the Digi 002 before launching Logic, I got the proper audio to come through without static.
Jumpin
On the Digi website they mention this and they suggest you use a shorter firwire cable which suppose to rectify this.
