everydayjones
I followed the tutorial on MacProVideo. It's working great for a group I'm recording. How do I quickly add another buss (or whatever is needed) so that I can quickly send the control room mix to the 4 headphones (each have their seperate mix during recording) so the artists can hear the mix I'm doing? I don't want to have to change their recording mix just so they can listen to the song.
David Nahmani
Select all channel strips. Send to a bus. Option-click the send pot to set it to 0 dB. Click-hold the send and choose "Post pan". On the corresponding Aux, set the output to the output on your audio interface where you plugged the headphone amp. If necessary, mute whatever other "custom" mix you already had routed to the same headphones. If you have to do this quite a lot, you could set up a template where all your channel strips go to a bus (rather than to Stereo Out). Then that bus is your master mix, and you can send it to whatever you'd like.
