skeeter
Hello, When you have the scissor tool and hold down the the mouse button to scrub through an audio file, you get that fast forward/ backward sounds, depending on how fast and in what direction you are moving the mouse. How do I record this? I tried putting the output of the track I'm scrubbing to bus 10 and then on the the track want to record's input to bus 10 ,had my scissor tool ready and pressed record. Alas you can't scrubb whilst recording which I thought would be the outcome. I guess I would need another independant recording device (laptop#2) to record the output of my speakers and then import the file from laptop#2 into my main project. Is this the best way or is there something simple that I have over looked? Thankyou
fuzzfilth
Set up a Tape Delay exactly like this: http://home.arcor.de/fuzzfilth/Other/scrub.png Set your track to Automation Latch. Hit Play. Go wild with the Groove slider. Christian

David Nahmani
I guess I would need another independant recording device (laptop#2) to record the output of my speakers and then import the file from laptop#2 into my main project. There's an easier option: use something like SoundFlower to route the audio out from Logic into another app like QuickTime and record your results there. Then import that back into your Logic project.

I still use it to grab things when I can't bounce, or, get things from another app, etc.
