Master Fader Automation [SOLVED]

How does one make the master track visible in the arrange window, in order to use the fade tool? I have been fading out tracks manually using latch. It doesn't sound as good as a clean fade with the fade tool.

In the mixer Control Click the Stereo Out channel strip and select Create/Select Arrange Track.

You can only use the fade tool on an audio region, so that's not going to help you on a track like the master fader.

What you want to do instead is create a track for your Stereo Out channel strip, and use automation but instead of doing it live, just do it on the automation track, drawing a nice downward slope that you can then curve and/or adjust anyway you see fit.

Not working in Logic Pro X. I cant get the automation to show for space designer on the output, but strangely enough the automation is working in the background.

The problem is that when I click "create track" for output, it doesn't create a track. I might have created a track for the master channel before trying to create a track for the output. I restarted logic and it still wont show me the automation for output channel, instead it only shows a track for the .aster channel that only allows automation for volume, mute and solo.

Not working in Logic Pro X.

It's working here. I control-click the Output channel strip and choose "Create Track" and it creates a track for it - even if I had already created a Mater track before.

Try to set the automation mode for your Output channel strip to "Latch", press play and tweak its volume fader... does that create an Output track?

How do you make it curve so nicely? I can only do a series of many little dots in order to get it to curve...
