Automate Multiple Tracks With One Automation Lane? [SOLVED]

I searched and couldnt find this.

I'm sure it's on here, could someone please pass me the link.

 

Or if not, just outline how to do this here?

(i'm sure it's easy enough?)

 

Create an Aux, bus the desired tracks to the Aux. Control Click the Aux channel strip in the Mixer and select Create/Select Arrange Track. Automate the Aux track in the Arrange.

isn't there a way to do this without using a bus?

 

I'm trying to select multiple automation lanes so that the changes that I make on one reflect on all the other ones. I have no other need to bus all these tracks to a stereo channel other than to control their volumes via automation so it seems like a big workaround.

Read up on Groups.
