smorg777
I want to create a multi-channel wav file with vocals and music on different channels for future vocal replacement by a colleague using Sound Forge. I'm using Logic Pro 8, what's the best and/or easiest way? Thanks very much!
David Nahmani
How many channels do you need?
smorg777
I need at least two channels, one for vocals and the other for music. More channels might be handy to further separate elements like sfx. Thanks
David Nahmani
Two channels is easy, it's a good old regular stereo bounce, just pan anything you want on channel 1 to the left and anything you want on channel 2 to the right. More, and you need to do a surround mix, and use the surround pan to route things to one channel or another.
fuzzfilth
I need at least two channels, one for vocals and the other for music So mono can't be all that bad, right ? 200 years and still doing fine. Christian
smorg777
Yep, this is for a telephone recording, so mono files will be just fine! Cheers!
smorg777
Thanks David Just like you said, a simple stereo bounce, panned left and right, did the job. Cheers!
