leechlife
Hi Not sure if that's possible, but if one believes rumours then everything is possible with logic's environment. Here's what I'd like to do: I have to 2 audio tracks (which could be mono or stereo). I would like to control the pan of those 2 track with a single knob, BUT not identical (as the groups would allow me to do). I like the pan to be the opposite: meaning if channel 1=-63 then channel 2=+63, if channel 1=+25 channel 2=-25. if channel 1 is in the centre so is channel 2. I also would like to be able to automate that with a single automation function. Is that possible to do? What would be the best to do that? thanks and best regards

Eriksimon
SMT's method is fine, here's another cool option: Open your Controller Assignments window (cmd-K) in Expert View, assign your two knobs (if you haven't already) to the pan on the respective tracks, exit Learn Mode and type a - (minus) before the 1.00 Multiply factor on the channel strip that you want to react "antiknobwise". http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4144/5191774291_d3870741f3_z.jpg http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4147/5192378920_b6b824a7aa_z.jpg

David Nahmani
assign your two knobs (if you haven't already) to the pan on the respective tracks That's a cool idea, but the controls aren't coupled... unless you assign a single knob to both pan controls, and reverse one of the assignments as you suggested.
