apathesis
ok so the other day... i was using reason rewired into logic, coming in through an aux channel, i had it solo'ed, i muted it, and from that point on logic just wouldn't play, the little mute buttons are all flashing as if something is soloed but nothing is. i've made sure by going through and muting/unmuting and soloing/unsoloing every channel, in every way possible, using the buttons on the mixer, on the arrange, toggling the transport solo, everything. but for some reason logic thinks that some invisible track is soloed or something. if anyone can shed ANY light on this it would be the most amazing thing ever as it has happened to possibly the best tune i have written in like five years. much obliged! David Nahmani
i had it solo'ed, (...) the little mute buttons are all flashing as if something is soloed but nothing is. Anyway you do have a channel strip soloed, that's why you see the Mute buttons blinking. Maybe the soloed channel strip is not visible in the Mixer, but there is one. Best way to fix it is to solo another channel strip, any other channel strip, then Option-click its solo button, which unsoloes all channel strips in your project. You could also try the "Solo off for all" key command, which is Control-Option-Command-S in the U.S. key command preset (not by default, only if you actually selected that preset yourself). Eriksimon
the first bit didn't work I can assure you that it does - you must have missed something. When it happens again, activate the All button in your mixer window, and be aware of the horizontal scrollbar underneath, too, if you have many channel strips. http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5090/5214778920_7dcd370622_m.jpg
