everydayjones
I filmed a band and recorded them in Logic. The lead singer didn't like his vocals and wants to re-track, but also wants to see the footage to try and make his re-tracking look realistic. What is the best way of syncing the video to the audio in Logic? Can I open more than one mpeg in Logic? I have two that need to be used for the entire session. David Nahmani
Did you use any kind of video/audio sync during the recording/shooting? Like a clap? If not, you'll have to find a percussive word, or beginning of a song, or any visual cue that has a corresponding sound cue, to line them up manually. Jordi Torres
Thanks David. Any way to open more than one mpeg? No, you need to use some other program to merge the 2 movie files, Quicktime for instance. Here's a tutorial: http://www.bukisa.com/articles/86993_how-to-merge-two-video-files-together J.
