Kontact 4 Logic 9.1.3 64 bit

Hello,

I'm running Kontact 4 Abbey Road drums on Logic 9.1.3 64 bit, and Kontact is still using nearly a gig of ram from Logic. I was under the impression that 64 bit applications, such as Kontact 4, would not add to Logic's ram. Am I missing something?

Any plugin running inside of Logic will use Logic's ram. The beauty of running in 64 bit is that you essentially don't have a ram ceiling anymore. Kontakt can use it's own ram outside of logic if you're using Kontak's memory server. I don't have that turned on anymore as it's just not necessary (in 64 bit mode).
